Thick and soft!
This rug is substantially heavier than the other "pile" rugs I have had. It is a combination of soft, thick shag and shorter, looped berber-like carpet in the outline of the design. Just arrived so not sure how it will stand up to wear in our motorhome, but the colors are perfect. Great buy for the price.
