    They are okay

    I have been using these exact lights for the last 5+ years. I had my first defect after that much time. Half the set would light up, while the second half was dark. This normally would not be a problem, but since the lights are injection molded, you CANNOT replace a defective LED. If one LED fails, half the string will not light. This is an expensive proposition if it happens. At $20+ a string, you would think the LED would be replaceable.
