The Rokinon 24mm F1.4 ED AS IF UMC Wide Angle Lens for Fuji X mount (FX) Cameras has the 35mm focal length equivalence of a 36mm lens. With its f/1.4 maximum aperture, it is a very fast lens, ideal for low light and for freezing action as well as for shallow depth-of-field control. Optical construction incorporates four Extra-low Dispersion (ED) elements and two Aspherical (ASP) elements which reduce chromatic aberration and distortion for sharper images. Additionally, UMC coating has been applied to lens elements to improve light transmission and create a more contrast-rich image. Bokeh (the quality of the background defocus) is pleasing at F1.4 and aided by its 8 bladed aperture design, remains smooth throughout its aperture range The filter diameter is 77mm and the lens comes equipped with front and rear lens caps, bayonet petal-type lens hood (reversible for storage) and a soft lens pouch

The Rokinon 24mm F1.4 ED AS IF UMC Lens gives you a substantial wide angle of view of 84° with full-frame Canon cameras. It can also be used with Canon APS-C cameras to provide a 57.6° angle of view basically equivalent to a 35mm lens on a full frame camera. It works well for landscapes, interiors, street photography and astrophotography.

It's 13 elements in 12 group design utilizes 4 Extra Low-Dispersion (ED) glass elements and 2 Aspherical elements to produce sharply defined images even in low lighting conditions. Focus can be as close as 9.84" for outstanding wide-angle close-up views.

Anti-reflection UMC coating (Ultra Multi Coating) enhances light transmission, increases contrast and reduces flare. The non-rotating 77mm filter mount allows easy use of polarizers and other rotating filter types while the silky-smooth and perfectly-damped long throw action of the focusing ring provides precise focus control.
