Great To See 80's Colors And Prints Coming Back

We love the abstract print of grunge brushstrokes in blues and beiges. Yes, our taste is stuck in the 80's and you just don't see this kind of pattern anymore. The design caught our eye right away and that's why we wanted to try this rug. We like it. The rug comes folded up in a package and has a strong odor, unfortunately. That's odd, being that it's made of polyester. We figure that it's got to be the chemicals used in either the backing or the printing. Luckily, it's machine washable. It went right to the washer and then to air dry and that process got the creases out easily. The rug looks just like the product images. It's a soft, low pile rug with the design printed on it. It's thin, so we'd almost call it no pile. But that's okay for a simple door mat. The rubber backing is not applied as thickly as other rugs we've seen, but it grips enough to hold in place. The edge stitching looks good, too. The size is right. A 2x3 rug is a standard door mat size. We just have to decide which door it's going to live by. It's nice that multiple sizes are available to match in this pattern. We wouldn't mind throwing a few more of these rugs around the house. The overall quality is good and we love the decorative value of the pattern and color palette. That's why we're giving the rug five stars.
