MXL TEMPO USB MICROPHONE

I purchased this microphone to do podcasts and Skype sessions. MXL has a quality reputation, and I was surprised to find it here at Walmart,especially at a lower price than all of the music stores.I couldn't be more pleased with the performance and the price.

No better than a built-in MacBook mic

I was looking for a microphone to record voice at with higher quality and less background noise than the built-in microphone on my MacBook Air. Sadly there was no audible difference between recording with my built-in mic and the MXL Tempo. I had several other people compare the recordings too and no one could hear any difference. I guess I'll try a more expensive product or just stick with what I have.
