Italy's greatest musical export, Lacuna Coil, has returned with the massively anticipated, new full-length release, DARK ADRENALINE. The album was recorded with acclaimed producer Don Gilmore (Avril Lavigne, Linkin Park, Pearl Jam) at the famed NRG Studios in Los Angeles. This sixth full-length album from the Italian gothic metallers is the follow-up to 2009's Shallow Life. Like that album, it was produced once again by American Don Gilmore (Bullet for My Valentine, Linkin Park), but this release could not be more different. Shallow Life saw the band adopting what many saw as a softer, pop-oriented approach that was more rock than metal. Dark Adrenaline is a dramatic reversal that brings back the heaviness in spades, but never loses sight of the catchy melodies that have made the band so popular.
