This is ideal for my needs, particularly that it is washable, not too thick (even a robot vacuum will go on and off with ease), but also is not cheapy where the ends will furl or back will be ruined from washing. The border is perfect, not bulky but not wimpy. There is virtually a no tripping risk and that was another huge point. It stays in place and that is the selling point in the end, it is safe from slips for you, your family pets included, and guests. I like having it in the kitchen to give my feet a break as I spend much time there, especially when doing dishes it will be nice to have the extra cush. The design is actually more alluring than pictured, very mod. It will go very well with any earth tones in flooring or furniture, and is machine washable with a perfect back that is higher quality than most I have had by far. I cannot see this going brittle ever. Nice that it will spot wash nice for spills. I see they recommend not using the brush spool on a vacuum if you want to retain further life from this rug. Perfect size for my kitchen and goes well with the floor. This would also be perfect for a mud room, all-weather porch, an extra long shoe rug near your door, even in a van or back of SUV. Now I want a matching apron, ha! I would wear slacks with this design even!
