Third Brake Light - Compatible with 2007 - 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 2008 2009

This part arrives in a timely manner and came as advertised. Some of the reviews that I read mentions that guys were needing to hardwire the replacement parts. I found that the electrical connector was tucked away inside the roof of the cab of the truck. Disconnecting the electrical wires was easy from the exterior side of the truck however, after fiddling with it for a while, as soon realized that connecting the wires would be easier from the interior side of the truck. This required me to remove the dome light in the cab of the truck and slightly separate the headliner in order to gain access to the electrical connectors. The entire installation took me approximately 30 minutes, the majority of that was trying to figure out how to disassemble the dome light without breaking anything. YouTube for the win. All said and done the replacement light works perfectly and came with lightbulbs already installed. You will need to keep your mounting screws from your old light assembly.
