This machine is so very LOUD that you cant hear another person talk that is close to you. We only used it about 4 times to make hamburger. When we came back to our winter home this year my husband had to cut the meat in 1 inch pieces and then it still wouldn't work very well. He had to keep turning the machine off and on. Then we could smell something burning. I wouldn't have given this 1 star but it wouldn't let me proceed without rating it. Don't waste your money on this machine!! I would love to return it but it has been 1 year.
