Protectin for Carpeting

I bought two of these things because I have a pretty wide desk and need to be able to roll from end to end. The nice thing about my carpeting it that there is no padding between it and the actual floor. What this means is that these things should last a while (as in years) as opposed to cracking and falling apart within a few months. Take this advice for what you will but know this: These plastic floor mats work well when there is no padding under your carpeting. If you have padding then you might want to look at something else.

Excellent chair mat. Great Price for a large mat.

My old mat became brittle and was cracking into pieces. I purchased this after checking around online. It was large enough and the price was great. I have had this mat in use for two weeks. I am in my chair about 12 hours every day. At the end of the day there are usually several depressions in the mat. By the next morning, the depressions are gone and I don't have to worry about being stuck in a depression when rolling with my chair.

Protect your carpet from the movements of your desk chair with this excellent carpet mat: it is made tough yet is easy on the carpet. Also, unlike other mats, the surface isn't so slick that you feel as if you are on an ice skating rink! (Note, one thing, tho: it is really for low pile carpets.)
