Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Smooth & Strong Base Coat, 3222 Clear, 0.5 fl oz

This stuff is fantabulous! It lasts for every bit that I need it to, and it's a great multitasking polish. Unfortunately, my local store stopped stocking it, and I am a million times sadder than a little boy that's just lost his balloon. I DON'T use this as a base on my fingers- I use the nail growth stuff- but I DO use it on my funky toes and it does wonders! I do use this as a top coat on both fingers and toes, and it gives my nails a marvelous lacquered look! I always use it over my nail decals and glitter- I HATE using glitter polish without it because the glitter pulls my hair. It often gives them an almost 3D effect, like those tables I used to see as a kid that had glitter and stuff under the clear coat. I mean, if that makes sense... It DOES take just short of forever to dry, so if you're in a hurry it's probably not your cup of tea. It can last me a week or more, especially with added coats through the week. HOWEVER- eventually it gets so thick you can simply peel it all off. For my nail art, this is a great product. I would say a must have, but I currently don't have it and I seem to be surviving in some sort of half-life regardless.

The Salon Manicure sets never cease to amaze me! I absolutely loved the top coat and (after I figured it out) the Cuticle + Moisturizing Balm. This base coat is amazing and does exactly what it says, provides strength and helps weak nails. Also my nails are not stained after using reds or purples. I used this base coat and then the Salon Manicure Top Coat and after working a rough shift of doing freight and banging my nails, my manicure is still fresh looking! If you have not bought this or the other salon manicure material then you are not getting a true long lasting manicure.
