Considering that this Pleistocene predator became extinct over 10,000 years ago, we're quite privileged to have a museum-quality replica of the original skull excavated at the famous La Brea Tar Pits. Our specimen is cast in quality designer resin, finished to replicate ancient fossilized bone, and is displayed atop a fine museum mount. 13½"Wx7"Dx20½"H. 13 lbs.

A really great item!
I received my Saber-toothed Tiger Skull Artifact last week and was really happy with it.It was very well packaged and I received it very quickly.I have actually had people ask me if it was real.The photo doesn't do it justice! It is a great piece and I would recommend it to anyone that likes unique items.
I love my Tigger Skull!
I had come across this a couple months before I was planning to move, and it was LOVE at first sight! It would have been silly to buy it just to pack it up and move it, so I bookmarked the page, visited it often, and waited. I'm glad I waited, because this thing is BIG! And HEAVY! And AWESOME! He now presides over my entryway, and judges all who enter. I fear I may not be cool enough to own something this fantastic, but I'm making do. Even with the dimensions listed, I didn't appreciate how substantial this guy is. I don't run across a lot of saber-tooth tigers, but I'm betting this is life size. It's about the same size as an average to large house cat. Not the house cat's head, the whole cat. The only con I would add is that in the picture on the website, it's positioned just so, and you can't really see the big ol' bar that it's mounted on, but there's very much a big ol' bar that it's mounted on. I've gotten used to it, but it was a little startling at first. Love my Tigger Skull!
