9 months ago I adopted a 5 pound Yorkie, and she is MUCH smaller than my other dogs. Although there are dog beds around the house, she never seemed to use them. Then I realized that because of her small size she would sometimes get jossled or stepped on by the other dogs, and she needed her own safe place to sleep. This dog crate was the right size and on sale so I bought it. It was easy to set up, it's well made, and exactly the right size. Her little soft-sided bed just fits inside. She sat next to me watching me set up the crate, put in the little rug and then her bed on top of that, and before I could even pull my hand out, she had jumped inside and was snuggling happily in her little "bedroom." She sleeps in it every night, and occasionally during the day when she naps. She is safe, I know where to find her, and she loves it. This crate could also go in the back of my SUV for travel or a trip to the vet. It was a great buy online, and gets 5 stars from me--I like everything about it.

Love this cage. I didnt realize when i bought it that it would be so easy to set up. So simple that even a stubborn, bored and lazy 15 year old boy did it in less that 30 seconds! So much easier than the old metal cage we had years ago. Would absolutely purchase this again! It is a little hard to latch, if my children were younger or if I was elderly, it would be difficult but it is getting easier with use. Overall- we love it though!!
