It's sturdy and heavy, it seems like good quality. It was a little fiddly to put it together, would probably be easier with 2 people. I especially like how easy it is to turn on and off, you just step on the button. Now I want another one for the living room!

I love it for late at night when I'm doing laundry and rest of family in bed. It's just the right amount of light. It's great size for the space and it's got a very cute stylish shade. I put in an led bulb equivalent of a 60W.
