Grand Trunk Compass 360 Stool

Great stool for traveling. It's now part of my backpacking gear. The legs unfold and snap easily into place. However, the fabric seat was extremely difficult to attach the first few times I set it up. I really struggled, but finally managed to wrangle it onto the poles. Totally worth it once I sat on the thing, and they do get easier the more you use it. This stool has everything I wanted. It's fairly lightweight (but not as light as advertised), yet it's stable and sturdy. It folds down small (only 7.5 inches long when folded), which is half the size of most stools because the legs fold in half. It easily fits in both my backpacking pack and small day pack. The seat is comfortable. I don't feel like I'm sitting on a net like some other lightweight stools. I'm short, only 5 feet tall. This stool is 15 inches high. I think it's fine for me, but my sister in law sat on it today and said it was a bit too short for her. One fun feature of this stool is that it swivels 360 degrees!

In my line of work I've gone through countless camp stools. Grand Trunk's 360 Compass is the most durable and packable of the over several I've used. Even with extra weight strapped to me or my compatriots it holds up to all the challenges thrown at it. It definitely punches above its weight.
