I have four bolts in the studs and it holds fine. I put the Sheetrock plastic anchors in
I hung my 50 tv on this. I have four bolts in the studs and it holds fine. I put the Sheetrock plastic anchors in, but they just spun and never expanded internally to actually tighten. It would be a terrible idea to use those anchors in hopes to hold the TV on the wall.

This mount will fit a 55" TV in the corner
55" TCL (55R615) with a manufacturers listed weight of 37 lbs mounted in the corner. Other reviews on other corner wall mounts said that it would not extend far enough to fit the TV in the corner; this mount fits perfectly. I went to the hardware store though and bought larger bolts for the mount just as a precaution; however I am not an engineer though so I do not know if they were needed, but with the arms almost fully extended to accommodate the corner mounting I would recommend it (better safe than sorry). Mounted in studs (I think the instructions said it could be mounted just through the drywall. DO NOT DO THIS). Reasonably priced. No complaints other that it was a little difficult to mount by myself with the moving parts.
