Comp Cam Magnum Hydraulic Roller Single Pattern

Killer street performance BBC roller camshaft. Choppy idle runs hard to 6200 - 6300 rpm. Nothing but a big smile when you step on this one, it's exactly what we had in mind. Music to the ears. 9.5:1 427 / Edelbrock 100cc oval ports. Perfect combination as far as I can tell. Transmission Specialties 1000 XHD XLS 2,800 stall. Working on a Gear vender 2.91 final overdrive for it now. "Pleasure to drive" the man I did the work for said.

The Cam is so-so, the lifters are trash

Lifters leak down while driving and it starts tapping away louder than solid lifters. Then after complaining and Comp asking me to send them in to be checked, they said they found nothing wrong but sent a new set, which then gave me bad lifters in different locations. Then Comp says it's normal for them to be noisy. Right, for one to get really loud then finally pump up only to have another 2 leak down and tap away. Garbage.
