Shipping was speedy, well-packed with Styrofoam that I kept and set large piece behind TV against wall (paper thin walls at apt. house). Assembly was easy for one person without exertion. Easy, well-written instructions, large pictures as well. And I only have a couple screws left over! Thankfully they are extras! As well as an extra small allen wrench, screw-in foot pad that are adjustable for floors that may not be level. Make sure you do not tighten things past snug fit or it will work against the integrity of this unit and could with enough force dent in or crunch the wood or metal. Make sure you have the holes all facing where you need them i.e. for the crossbars. Design is well-thought out, the selling point is the extra crossbar that makes it a more solid base, can hold more weight, and will not collapse or fold if moved or from appropriate weight of contents on top. The top wood piece is richly colored, solid and strong, not the cheaper buffalo or particle board that buckles, it is handsome, and has corner protectors that you will want to make sure are pushed flush in place before securing table to base. I have this a couple feet from the end of a queen bed and it fits perfectly as it is a long as the short side of a queen size bed. You could fit a very large tv on it but I opted to put a 32" and have room that is my desk. I will pick up a nice chair and cushion or stools and be all set! I have a small tote underneath for now for storage of items I need handy and a hook with phone cord but may put a chest and/or footstool under it. Even a peddlernor stepper would fit nicely with knee room and you could use a gym ball for a chair option to stay in shape as a side option! PERKS-Plenty of space-saving storage under this desk that is nice and high. Easy to move. Great quality and price. This would be ideal for many uses, kitchen, bathroom, gamers, storage or even a lemonade stand!

I wanted this desk for my grandson. He does a lot of gaming and needs the room. The desk is more than enough room, he loves it. Assembly was easy. A hint, hold on to the strip of styrofoam that covers the top piece. When you flip the desk to attach the top it works perfect if you lay that piece under the top. It holds it in place and protects the top while you screw out on. There is no drawer or storage but my grandson said he doesn’t need that. He loves all the space under the desk as well as on it. Very sturdy. Great buy.
