Fractionated Coconut Oil is made by separating the different types of fats in coconut oil, leaving behind the medium-chain fatty acids (Medium Chain Triglycerides or MCTs), providing the most health benefits. Fractionated oil can remain in liquid form at room temperature and has a long shelf life making it perfect for DIY beauty products such as moisturizers, hair conditioners and massage oils.
Our organic fractionated coconut oil (aceite de coco organico liquido) has been carefully sourced from Singapore and India. It is certified USDA organic so you can rest assured that the product was grown and processed without harmful chemicals.
Our organic liquid coconut oil is made from 100% coconut oil. It is palm oil-free. While palm oil is much cheaper and results in the same MCT oils upon fractionation, palm oil plantations are a major driver of deforestation in our rainforests. These plantations destroy the habitat of animals including endangered species like the Orangutan, pygmy elephant and Sumatran rhino. It also contributes to global warming by reducing the ability of rainforests to soak up carbon dioxide. It is not sustainable. That is why we ensure our fractionated coconut oil is made from coconuts, not the fruit of palm oil trees.
