This is a really nice griddle for the money. I love that it is round and can be reached from any angle to cook. Griddle gets plenty hot to cook most anything that you would want a good sear on. Have made smash burgers and got that crunchy crust that makes them sooo good. Buy the cuisinart cover for this as well. Seasoning the griddle using the supplied instructions provide a really nice result and is just like cooking on a huge cast iron skillet......

Seems to be a great griddle...but...
I'm going to give this a 5 star rating, although I have yet to use it or even set it up - which is because 3 of the legs were damaged, and there's a back order on the replacements. I'm not at all happy about the time it's taken, as this was a Christmas gift, and we actually hoped to be able to use it immediately. My 5 star rating is based on research and what I hope this griddle will turn out to be. If I don't get the replacement parts soon, the rating will drop accordingly.

Waiting a long time...
I've been waiting a long time for a grill option versus grate. My outdoor cooking changed from occasional grate propane cooking to every single night on my new grill! Clean-up is so much easier than scrubbing grates. No more crusty grease!!!! The trick with grill vs grate, grill requires a start of high heat to desired browning, and lowering swiftly to achieve moist succulent meals... Timing is everything... Enjoy, I sure do!
