thinner than size zero yarn i have

this is a size 10 lace wieght (or a zero wieght) more than a size 1, much thinner than a size 1 in the wool same brand) i couldve gotten 1000 yards of this for 5 dollars rather than 15, will never buy again....but that being said its soft...and softer than the other kind i normally get for this weight, but as i use this wieght for doilies and not for the purpose i was wanting this for its a mute point and not a factor...sort of a waste for it to be soft, unless i double it up but then there isnt enough yardage, so im very disappointed. but if you know this is super thin and have a use for it and want a very soft yarn, then this will be an excellent choice for that. it is reminicent of embroidery floss, but not that thickness, if you have ever seperated your strands of embroidery floss, it feels like string but is actually a couple threads,. up next to my size zero yarn it looks thinner than that. for my budget this is discouraging because i cant buy more and its too costly to make a doily.
