Review of Vinci 6 Inch 50 Pack Landscape Staples – Heavy Duty Galvanized Garden Stakes for Weed Barrier Fabric, Lawn Edging, Artificial Turf %26 Landscaping Pins for Yard and Garden @ $10.98 I bought some lawn edgings that requires stakes to secure it in place. (I did not buy it from Walmart) I did not feel that it came with enough stakes to properly secure it in some places. I saw these offered and decided to try them. These are heavy duty. They are supposedly galvanized and “rust resistant”. I don't have any clue how long they will last at this point, but they were reasonably priced for 50 of them to have as extras. If I have the time and it's not too expensive, I will likely buy some spray coating to help prevent rusting. These are strong enough to go into my soil, but right now the soil is softer than it will be mid-to-late summer. Most recommend using a rubber mallet to hammer these in when the ground is harder. As it is right now, I can almost push them all the way in by hand, but I go ahead and hammer them as far down as possible.
