Perfect for my purpose, however...

I purchased this to clean/scrub the inside of our MeoWant automated litter box barrels. The bristles are exactly the right stiffness for that purpose. They are not as stiff as the usual toilet bowl scrubbing brush yet they aren't too soft to get the job done properly and quickly. There are more bristles than the usual toilet bowl brush yet there aren't so many that I expect stuff to get stuck in them like some of the brushes with lots of bristles. However, I'm going to have to purchase another one because when I took this one out of the package I started using it to brush our 20-year-old cat who happened to be standing in a chair wanting attention. He loved it, he hugged it, he rubbed his face on it, he danced like a young man. It makes him a happy old man. It's his now. It is also great for "petting" other cats who happen to be resting on a high shelf - they love it too. Takes a while to get here, but definitely worth the wait.
