1. Preparation: Unscrew brush top, pierce one small 2mm hole in the foil seal (do not remove), replace brush top securely. Re3move loose surface dirt and blot spills. 2. Application: Squeeze bottle gently to moisten sponge, then work formula gently into the soiled area. Do not soak stains. 3. Finish: Let formula work for 3 minutes. Blot with a clean, damp colorfast cloth or sponge. Repeat as necessary. Rinse applicator after use. If water-mark or ring appears, dab thoroughly with a damp, light-colored cloth.

I've only used for areas on my couch that have gotten a bit dingy from dirt but this lifts that right up and it doesn't leave a chemically scent. I find it more natural almost minty which I like. So, I've been using Carbona products for years. I used to use the Red bottle with the scubber top on my couches. Between the grandkids and the cats, I needed to clean my Queen mattress. I bought this version because of the Oxy in it and it worked pretty well. I took off one star only because I couldn't get a couple of stains out (probably no fault of the product Idk), but they're faded so I'm happy. The product started with a nice albeit strong-ish smell as I was cleaning (not unpleasant). After the mattress dried out the smell faded away which made me very happy because I suffer from allergies and strong smells often trigger my migraines! "Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner!" 😅
