Extream car safety hammer glass window breaker and seatbelt cutter. This life saving item is the best thing I've ever purchased. I hope I never need to use it. It makes me happy to know I can help someone when they are in a burning car, a child locked in a car or elderly person crying because he can't get her seat belt off. XTREME AUTO 2-IN-1 SAFETY HAMMER.
The XTREME AUTO 2-IN 1 SAFETY HAMMER arrived on time and it was exactly as it was described on Walmart's website. It is made out of aluminum alloy, is approximately 7 inches long, 3 inches wide, and weighs approximately 6 1/2 ounces. It is water resistant and will last a long time. No assembly is required. Remove it from its packaging, then remove the plastic covering the hammer's stainless steel tip and it is ready to use. It fits comfortably in your hand. It has a solid steel tip that will shatter a side window, and a hidden stainless steel blade that will easily cut a seat belt in half, but not cut you. It will shatter a vehicle's side glass window so that you can escape from your vehicle and/or cut through the seat belt that is holding you in place in your vehicle. Instructions, warranty information, and contact information is clearly printed on the back of the tool's packaging. You can choose where you are going to place this tool in your vehicle. Me, I will place it in an interior pocket on the driver's side door, that way I can easily get to it when I am in or out of my vehicle. Walmart only charges $16.99, plus tax, for this tool. I would highly recommend that you purchase this tool. You never know when you might need it, or someone needs you to break a window on a locked car continuing a small child on a very hot day.

Solid, good glassbreaking tip, more hammer weight
So I have several styles of these emergency toold in my car. They can be hit or miss, so I included photos if a similarly priced hammer. The silver one has a MUCH better designed glass breaking tip. Since that is the primary reason I have these tools (we live in a very wet state). The length on the handle will also provide better leverage and most of the weight is in the metal hammer head, which is what you want. The only issue for me was the cutter. It did cut the leather BUT not as easily as the other one. It did cut and since my use is for the hammer I still gave it full starts. Overall a much better designed tool than my orange one.
