The candles arrived packaged carefully and all intact. They all work, including with the remote. There are numerous functions/timer settings. The "flame" is amber colored. These will work well in my metal wall sculpture. I cannot speak to durability as I just received them. The "flame' is very prominent and not very realistic looking on close inspection, but the impression will definitely be of candlelight. I am pleased with this purchase thus far.
