Could be much better

I used these for candles that only stayed lit for a couple hours a day and they only lasted a month. Also, I guess because a child or infant swallowed one of the batteries, they now put them in double hard plastic that is very difficult to cut out with scissors. When you have arthritis it is not easy!

Can't Open the Package

These batteries are each in their own individual package and are impossible to open. Each battery is enshrined in tight plastic wrap. I bought 32 of them and am not going to keep them as the packaging is ridiculous.

Many thanks for you feedback on the new child-resistant packaging. We have changed the packaging format to be in compliance with Reese’s Law, which states that all button, coin and hearing aid batteries – and devices powered by those batteries – must be contained in child-resistant packaging that features specific warning copy. The products have been subject to rigorous independent tests, confirming that the new packaging is 100% child resistant*, and zero batteries were accessed by children during CRP testing.* The new plastic dial includes additional staking points for extra security. By that nature it does mean that there will be a difference for users in how to access batteries in the pack, compared to previous packaging. The independent testing also showed that 99% of seniors were able to open the pack for the first time in under one minute*. On the second attempt, this time halved* so we found that consumers become faster with more familiarity and with instruction.
