Great product- but run large

I bought a size 7, despite being a woman 10 . I tried an 8 on at a dive shop-- and they were big, so gambled with the 7 and they fit like a sock-- perfect. Love them- but the sizing from Akona is off.

Useless for use in swim fins.

This "sock" appears to have been designed solely to be easy to put on your foot. The shape is nothing like a normal foot. Instead of being a snug fit, it would hold at least a pint of water within the "sock" in the space on top of my foot. To put a fin on over this sock, the top would need to be folded to conform to your foot - and then it would not fit into the fin. The sole is the same material as the rest of the sock, so I would expect it to be very short lived - even with minimal walking on deck or in sand. I would expect walking on rocks would destroy them instantly. I have tried them on, but I have not worn them or tried to put fins on over them. They remind me of tube socks; the only size fits NO ONE.
