First time using this type of product

Received this item today. Not bad looking product. It comes with the jar, two little serving forks and directions of recommended use. For now, I will just be using it for pickle chips. I may try something else at a later date. My reason for only giving 4 stars is for what is referred to as the "time recorder" in the description. The side for the month is a decent size number font, but the date side is very small. I washed it by hand, dried it and then put some pickles chips in. I took it over my kitchen sink and turn it over moving the pickle juice from one side to the other. I noticed some bubbling at the seal on one side, pushed the lid a bit harder and the air seepage stopped. So, just go around the lid(s) a couple of times to make sure the seal is snug.
