I may be misusing it but it's so LOW COST so what

I love it! If I had it to do over again I would have a smaller size- this one is just a bit cumbersome, but I can live with it. BUT the amazing thing is the firmness versus the weight- it's very light. I can easy sit, edge of board on my knee, and draw- no problem!! I tip the board so the back rests against the edge of a piece of furniture and everything is stable. AMAZING. Firm!

School Specialty Has the Best Values

We've been using the Helix Drawing Boards to create clay slabbing boards by covering them with canvas. The Helix brand is a very good value. Unlike my local supplier who sold me boards that had been in their warehouse so long that they had mildew on them, School Specialty has sufficient turnover that their boards don't have these issues.
