The rigid emblem has an adhesive back and should be placed onto a flat surface. On most vehicles locating a suitable flat surface can be difficult. Thoroughly clean the vehicle surface before placing the emblem onto the vehicle. Using masking tape for positioning the emblem can help; and warm weather may improve the adhesive . My previous emblem survived almost ten years. As the adhesive ages, the emblem may become loose.
