Excellent soft side travel case. I am using this with my large size racing road bicycle and it fits with plenty of room to spare even with the seat post in the original position which is pretty high. I did spend some time practicing with the case. The one thing to complain about is that the instructions are a bit thin and I needed more information specially with attaching the metal bar for the fork. Otherwise I can say that the bag looks and feels high quality. It comes with a good assortment of protectors which are normally an extra for other bags. The foam protection is a bit thin for my taste, but it is a pretty standard size as compared to others. The metal frame is built into the bag and keeps the bike upright while you pack everything. It has plenty of places to store parts and even a gear bag to place your helmet, etc. The bag with all accessories weights about 21 pounds. My bike is 18.2 pounds with pedals and saddle bag, so that is a total of about 38 pounds which is well below the 50 pound airline threshold. Overall, I am very happy with the bag. I may add more padding in strategic places just in case. The question of if the bike will survive is more about the airline handling the bag than the bag itself. I wanted a soft sided bag as I don't have a place to store a hard case, and a hard case will incur overweight fees.
