This patio umbrella works great in my backyard. It opens easily with the crank and already provides a good amount of shade for my outdoor seating area. I’m currently using it without a base fully set up, but even so it feels fairly stable. I expect it will be even better once properly secured with a weighted base. The fabric blocks sunlight well and looks decent overall. Good value for the price.

Assembly was extremely simple—all I had to do was secure the lower section of the pole to the base with the included screws.
