The BioGuard Preventative Algicide is a highly effective algae killer and prevents algae before it starts when used weekly. This product is formulated to complement swimming pool sanitizers. The wetting agent in this product allows it to penetrate small crevices where algae are likely to form. BioGuard Preventative Algicide is non-staining when used as directed and protects unattended pools from algae when you're away. This product provides a residual effectiveness that protects your pool against algae formation while keeping your pool water sparkling clear and free of visible algae. It can be used in all pool types.
