Identical to OEM at fraction of cost.

I needed new latches for my 06 Avalanche and could only find latches with the tailgate cable for >$80/each. These are identical to OEM but don't come with the cable. No big deal, the cable isn't what wears out its this latch! So happy these were almost 1/2 the cost and I swapped out the tailgate cable straps onto these new latches. (*Note, I'm not talking about the rods that run from the handle to the latches, I'm talking about the cable straps that hold the tailgate from falling onto the bumper when you open it up).

Perfect

Replaced my latch in under 10-minutes. Have to take the bezel off of the tailgate handle first to remove a clip on the rod to the latch before removing the latch. Watch a YouTube video if you haven't done it before. It's a simple job.
