Button Doesn't Work

Beautiful stocking holder and I mostly love it. However, the "on and off" button does not work. It is frozen in the "on" position so I can't turn it off other than removing a battery so it doesn't stay on all the time. Very inconvenient. Considering a return, but don't know if I'll get a replacement in time for Christmas.
