These dishes are really beautiful. The color is accurate on the website with the being dark blue with some light blue. I wanted them for eating outdoors, so I was looking for dishes that would hold up better there. I have not used them yet, so I am not sure how good they are at this part. But it is a beautiful set and I am very glad I bought them. They were packed wonderfully with boxes within a larger box and cardboard between the dishes. A great job on the packing so they didn't break in transit. Glad I bought these.
