Not happy with return policy

Everything about the product itself is wonderful! My complaint is I have a 2014 jeep limited. To install the rotors jeep uses a hex screws that is only available to the dealership. The person who installed my breaks used the pads without replacing the rotors (at the time of purchase i did not know, rotors did not need replacing). Now I have a kit that was broken down, rotors new never used and unable to return. Was an expensive break job for 'do it yourself '. Was told because the kit was broken down, the remainder of the kit was not returnable, even though the parts were new in the box..
