They came to film a legend.
The legend came for them.
The MythTrackers crew rolls into Cutler's Field expecting another spooky assignment: a shuttered mill with a bloody past, a chainsaw-themed Halloween festival, and a town that wears its "curse" like a costume. It's supposed to be controlled fear, packaged for TV.
Instead, the danger feels disturbingly real.
Safety rules bend. "Accidents" hit too close. The old mill isn't just creepy-it looks like someone has carefully taught it how to hurt people. The deeper the crew goes, the more they suspect that the scariest thing in Cutler's Field isn't the ghost story at all, but the way that story is being used.
With cameras rolling and pressure mounting, the team has to decide: keep playing along with the scares they were hired to chase, or turn the lens on the people who seem a little too invested in watching them flinch.
Book Two of the MythTrackers Series is a tense, atmospheric thriller about a found-family crew caught between myth and manipulation-fighting to make it out of the story alive, and to decide who gets to tell it.
