Excellent RO system, easy to install.
The RO system comes well packaged and each part is color coded for easy The instructions are very easy to follow with the color coding and step by step navigation. If you can assemble Ikea furniture you can easily install this unit by yourself. I was able to fit it under my sink even with a large garbage disposal there and still had room for cleaning products. I recommend giving the entire instruction pamphlet or read over before starting to assemble stuff. Most of the filter is pre-assembled. Really all one has to do is install the three main filters and attach a couple lines. Then follow the initial flush procedures. The hardest part is going to be drilling a hole in your stainless steel sink for the faucet. I followed the drilling directions on the faucet box. One your 1/8 bit stops penetrating, then switch to the quarter inch and that'll help mill it down. Once the quarter inch penetrated the stainless steel I switched to a cone bit. Drill at very slow speeds and squirt a little WD-40 around the bit drilling area to keep it cool. It took a little while however I was able to install the faucet on top of my stainless steel sink. Followed the flushing procedure and had no leaks and didn't have to adjust anything. The water pressure coming out of the RO faucet spicket was surprisingly good. I did some testing with a digital water hardness tester I bought from Amazon. My tap water hovers around 237 parts per million. This RO system, once it was flushed, was putting out drinking water that tested around 25 parts per million. That is excellent in my opinion because I'm also using the alkaline restore cartridge. Water tastes great and is refreshing and I'm very happy with this purchase. I use the filtered water in my coffee maker, humidifier and I fill up a half gallon jug to keep in the fridge for daily drinking water. I'll probably swap out the Chrome faucet for a brushed nickel to match the rest of my sink accessories.
