This shoe is one of the most comfortable new balance, tennis shoes. I have worn in quite a while. I tried the Coco Gauff shoes. Unfortunately they were a little tight in the toebox. This shoe is a little wider in the toebox on the medial side. It has good support and good padding in the heel. I would recommend this shoe for anyone who needs a wider shoe in the toebox for your information, they were a 2E.

I've been buying a new pair of the 996 or the 1006 every year for a good long time. (I drag my toe when I serve and wear through the edge, which is not the shoe's problem.) same great fit every time. I just wish these shoes came in more interesting colors than white. Since the start of the pandemic disrupted supply chains, it seems like NB can't source vibrant colors, at least not in my size.
