This is a very versatile little light. If I had to physically go up to it and turn it on or off, I wouldn't have even bothered to buy it. But this light has a remote, which includes timer settings. There's no need to continuously replace batteries, since it's rechargeable... Again, no need to change batteries. I love the fact that you have three distinct light shades, from cold, warm, or natural white, and you can lower each one to just the light you want. And you can move the spotlight in many directions until you have it just as you want it. Just shining a light on a picture or statue, without being able to control the color temperature and brightness, can result in the opposite effect that one is trying to achieve. Another great feature is that the light can be mounted on a wall, or flat surface with a metal circle stick-on, and can be effortlessly placed down upon a bookshelf, table, or wherever. It won't be sliding off, or falling. The timer includes 15, 30, 60 and 90 minutes to shut-off. Did I need this handy little light? Sure did. I have a beautiful statue that seemingly went unnoticed until the light called attention to it. Another plus feature is that the USB-C cable that comes with it, can charge the unit. Remote has battery ready-to-use. The only thing is that I wish the unit itself was small and more compact. The size draws attention to it, instead of it being low profile.
