This USP grade, expeller-pressed castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, which helps to retain moisture and prevent water loss, revitalizing dull, dry skin and hair. It's also a natural laxative. Sourced from castor seeds grown in India, this oil is free from artificial colors, fragrances, preservatives, parabens, and solvents. It's vegan and reflects De La Cruz's commitment to health and beauty since 1963.

Instructions
Castor Oil is a thick oil, so we suggest mixing a few drops with another carrier oil such as our De La Cruz Avocado Oil before putting on your face. For the body, blend with our De La Cruz Shea Butter if you need extra moisture for dryer skin. Apply the treatment and leave it on for a few minutes or overnight, depending on your needs. Use a clean wet cloth to remove the oil. For hair and scalp, apply a few drops of the oil on your scalp, roots and your ends. Apply on damp hair rather than dry or wet hair for better absorption. For maximum benefits, leave in for several hours or overnight. Wrap your hair in a towel if you don't want the oil to get sticky on your pillow or clothes. It will also help to better lock in moisture. For chapped lips, rub a small amount of castor oil on your lips and let it soak in for a few seconds before applying your favorite lip balm.
