Steely Dan - Can't Buy A Thrill [VINYL LP]

There are two ways to review an album, either by the music, or by the seller who sold it to me. In this case I can give both a top rating. The album is the debut album for Steely Dan presenting the less jazzy side of Steely Dan, and Donald Fagen singing only some of the tracks but not all. This is the actual Steely Dan band which really only survived their first album. In their subsequent albums Steely Dan would evolve into just Donald Fagen on keyboards and all lead vocals, and Walter Becker on guitar, and various studio session musicians hired on to record the albums. But this debut album features various band members writing and singing lead, although the Donald Fagen vocal tracks were the biggest hits (Do It Again and Reeling in the Years). So far as the album seller is concerned, the seller took great care to package and ship the album so that it arrived in pristine condition, in both appearance and on the turntable.
