Unfit lettuce

Unfortunately, the organic lettuce in my order had wilted/damaged pinkish and torn leaves and what I may call decay. I don't see a Best Buy date because then I could verify if this was past the date for safety. One buys we organic--paying extra so we can eat better and best. Health concerns and personal constitutions make organic food a necessity. Yes, there are so many components in growing vegetables, I know. My garden last year had infestation and all of my efforts to save my peppers, eggplants, squash, were futile--this is such a sad time. However, when we pay more for premium food it should be just that. in praise of the manufacturer or farmer I must also say: I do appreciate the packing of this product because it does prevent tampering--not many organic items do this and so we're not sure if what we are purchasing is truly organic! In addition, at times, the customer may not sure if the issue is with the merchant or the store. this is why adequate packing is important even if it contradicts the ideal of organic. One of the 'lesser evils'. however this is another topic best saved for another time. In the meantime, often with a delivery we must hope we can that our organic produce as well as inorganic produce is intact, is fresh, is at its best. These are the things that Walmart Can monitor; unfortunately, it seems that this has low priority as we can see when we read the reviews. When Walmart finally decides to focus on the produce it sells and not send rejected items to delivery they will reign above their competitors! For for those of us that buy produce (organic or inorganic) we do deserve premium, fresh, and intact produce. This is a simple necessity, request, And obligation by the merchant!

No Quality Control

Pickup order. This lettuce is over 2 weeks past expiration. Lettuce is very clearly wilted and turning brown. It shouldn’t have even been on the shelf in the first place. Where is the quality control?? Ridiculous.

Disappointing Romaine

I am squally very happy with the produce you select for me but the organic romaine lettuce I received today was very disappointing. I threw it away. It was wilted and limp.. I reside 40 minutes away so it is not worth my time to drive to you for an exchange.
