Adding oil was a bit of a pain. It took more pulls for the initial start than I thought it would. I started thinking I got a dud. But it did start. I may it run maybe a minute. My goal that night was just to get it started. The next morning after the first start it wouldn't start at all. I pull started it like 10 times and nothing. At lunch time I tried it again and it only took a couple pulls. I connected the remote start and manually started the unit and let it go for a bunch of hours. The remote start worked and this genny had been working like a dream. Ive mostly ran out with no load. I didn't see any documentation on break in, but I did it anyway. Then I did the big test. I connected the 30 amp RV socket to the shore power of my RV. It ran everything. I had everything running. The AC, the fridge, and for grins the microwave for 45 seconds. Everything dimmed for a moment when the microwave starts, but that is expected. I'm really happy with this purchase so far. I bought it to replace the onboard onan generator. This genny beats paying the same price to replace just the carb on that onan. BTW, I still don't like now loud it is, but it's quieter then others I've had.

The instructions aren't clear. There is no mention of the battery. The description says it comes with a wheel kit, when infact, it has to be purchased separately. It is the most quiet generator I have ever owned.
