I purchased this set for the heel pads because I had to start wearing wide width shoes as I have four bunions. Those pads are perfect! They prevent your heel from slipping out but don't make your shoes too small. Extremely well made with a soft velour fabric, two rows of padding and an excellent adhesive backing. To insert, peel off paper, fold in half and place the fold in the back of your shoe a quarter inch from the top. The surprise value from this set comes from the included ball of foot pads that you wear by putting your toes in them! The fabric is a soft polyester moleskin that is heat sealed over the top of the foot area and actually covers the bunion areas to prevent chafing! They stay in place and are made extremely well. They are completely roll stitched around the top inside, with no visible stitching. The toe holes are laser cut into the no fray fabric and the padded bottoms have a no slip very thin silicone pattern. I am even able to use them for pedicures because they separate my toes enough. I received six pairs of each, so it's also a great value! I definitely recommend and will repurchase.
