Great water transfer pump.
This is perfect to transfer water from a barrel to my fresh water tank when boondocking at our seasonal site. Works as well as electric transfer pump but much more convenient and easier to use.

It's a handy thing to have. You can drain a boat, or stick it in a rain barrel to use to water plants. I like the ease of use and operation. I mainly use it in my garden. I have lots of rain collection containers, and I use those to water my plants.

This pump is extremely well made, lightweight, and has a nice design for what it's used for. It does not come with the battery and it's not your typical battery that you may have laying around. It says that but even though I read the details it didn't register with me that I couldn't use it until I bought a battery. It takes a Makita 18volt battery and to buy it with a charger is around $60. Maybe I haven't found a cheaper one yet but luckily my dad had one that fit it. Excellent suction. I used it on top the pool cover to get the excess water off and it was perfect for the job. It's a great pump as long as you don't mind buying the battery.
