Samsung NA36N6555TS 36 inch Stainless 5 Burner Gas Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop replaced an older 4 burner gas cooktop that we had. The old cooktop basically had one setting, the high wasn't much stronger or hotter than the lowest setting. Boiling water and cooking anything took forever. Now we have 5 burners and the high allows water to boil so quickly and we have low settings that we can use without burning food! I love the griddle that you can put on top, it works very well for pancakes and quesadillas. It also has wifi capability but I have yet to set that part up. Not sure how I would use it for a cooktop. It is a beautiful black stainless steel, which now matches our fridge, dishwasher and oven! The controls light up blue when they are in use, which looks really good also!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this cook top (model NA30N6555TG/AA) for approximately 1.5 weeks and have cooked on it basically every day, multiple times a day. It is very sleek and modern looking as well as practical and easy to use. Pros: The blue light surrounding the knobs are a very vibrant, pretty color, which makes it very clear to see which burners are on and which are off while you are in the kitchen... this is typically very difficult to see if you have large pans on top of each burner without any type of lighting, or if the burner is on low and the flame is difficult to see. I also like that it hooks up to my Samsung Galaxy 10 mobile phone with the free SmartThings app. If I am sitting down with a group of friends for a meal, I can jump on the app very quickly and the app can tell me which burners are left on and which are off. This way, I do not have to excuse myself from the activities or discussion. I have had no disconnect issues and set up was extremely easy, also made easier with a quick guide sent along with the product itself. The cook top came with 3 large and heavy cast iron grates that are also very nice looking. The weight of the grates make it very difficult to be moved accidentally when shuffling pans across the cook top. I have been able to heat tortillas on the grates themselves without issue and the grates have overall been easy to clean. The cook top is a 5 burner cook top, with the powerful center burner which easily and quickly allows me to boil water and heat up food very quickly! There is enough space to comfortably cook food on all 4 corner burners without pans hitting or being off centered from the burner. Con: No warm setting - on my previous cook top, i had a high, medium, and low setting however, i was able to turn it down under low, and it kept my food warm without further cooking. On this cook top, your lowest setting is low, which still cooks the food. The Smart Connect LED indicator is right next to the knobs and is the same blue color as the pretty blue lights on each knob. I catch myself constantly looking over to make sure it is the indicator and not an actual burner on. I believe the indicator light would be better placed in the back of unit. Overall, I am very pleased with this cook top and have had lots of fun cooking with and experimenting with this product. It's sleek, modern design will capture the eye of all that walk through your kitchen and the ease and consistency of use will attract those who love cooking
