I’ve always used my fingers on my iPad and never really thought I’d need a stylus device. However, once I started using the iPad pencil, I was blown away. It took less than three seconds to connect to my iPad. All I had to do was charge the pencil, turn it on and it connected instantly. I didn’t have to pair it or go through any extra steps. I literally touched the tip of the pencil to my iPad and it was working immediately. I was also really surprised at how long the battery lasted. Charging took about half an hour and the pencil has lasted me days. Granted I don’t use it 24/7, but I do use it a fair amount just to scroll or take notes. it has great battery life. I’ve also found that it is extremely precise. It picks up touches very well and I have had no issues with accuracy. Writing with it is easy and smooth. My iPad case came with a built-in area for the pen, which is where it stays now. It has made using my iPad, so much easier and was the one piece of tech I didn’t even know I needed. Highly recommend.
